As an Associate, Software Engineering within the Risk Division, you will develop, enhance, support, and maintain software solutions for global business operations. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, user story refinement, coding, testing, and deployment to meet internal and regulatory standards. Your daily work involves designing and implementing scalable technology solutions using both internal and open-source services while identifying innovative technologies to transform financial businesses and internal platforms. The role requires proficiency in C++ or Java, experience with multi-threaded service-oriented applications in Unix environments, and knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka. You will also work with relational databases like Sybase or Oracle using SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB to build robust testing suites and microservices architectures featuring REST and other back-end technologies.

What we're looking for
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field and one year of experience in software engineering.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and two years of experience in software engineering.
Experience must include proficiency in C++ or Java.
Experience must include the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
Experience building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within a Unix environment.
Proficiency in programming technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
Experience with relational database management systems like Sybase or Oracle.
Experience in micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Spring, or other back-end technologies.
