What you'll do

  • Own the prompt engineering for every pipeline node, including validation, narration, and versioning in source control.
  • Extend LangGraph orchestration pipelines in Python to process run exports, compute KPIs, and manage automated QA retries.
  • Define and track evaluation metrics for all generative outputs to gate prompt changes based on improved quality scores.
  • Build retrieval systems over internal documentation and past runs to ensure generated text is grounded in actual data.
  • Prototype new analytical features from raw data and promote them to production only after passing rigorous testing.
  • Integrate the AI pipeline with existing platform infrastructure, ensuring all artifacts are logged in SQL Server for observability.
  • Design human-in-the-loop guardrails to allow commercial users to review and correct system outputs before final distribution.
  • Make technical decisions on model providers, orchestration methods, and hosting while adhering to enterprise security standards.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of software, data, or ML engineering experience with production-level Python, pandas, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping LLM-enabled features for real users using RAG, text-to-SQL, and agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain.
  • Proven ability to manage prompt engineering as code through versioning, testing against fixed inputs, and evaluation-gated releases.
  • Working knowledge of generative system evaluation practices including rubric-based grading, hallucination measurement, and coverage metrics.
  • Proficiency in the Azure data and AI stack, including Databricks, Synapse, MLflow, and Azure OpenAI Service.
  • Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, observability, API design, and cloud deployment.
  • Authorized to work.
