What you'll do

Simulate and model RF front-end systems to partition functions between hardware and software domains.
Derive technical specifications for RF systems and individual RF blocks.
Develop RF/microwave circuits, components, MMICs, boards, and packages.
Evaluate and characterize prototypes and various RF components.
Analyze and characterize full radio performance across the system.
Assist in the development of automated test equipment for laboratory measurements.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on production testing of RF avionics components and systems.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
2+ years of research and/or industry experience in RF/microwave circuit design.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
Master's degree or PhD in an engineering discipline with emphasis in RF/microwave circuits or electromagnetic theory (preferred).
Experience designing linear and non-linear circuits such as power amplifiers, LNAs, mixers, filters, and PLLs (preferred).
Proficiency in RF/microwave design using ADS, HFSS, AWR, or similar tools (preferred).
Experience with programming languages like Python, Matlab, C++, or LabVIEW for modeling and test automation (preferred).
Knowledge of digital communication systems, modulation types, and high-frequency bands such as Ku, Ka, V, and E (preferred).
