RF System Test Engineer, Senior

What you'll do

• Define, implement, and execute RF system validation strategies across modem software and hardware.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to verify wireless functionality and standards compliance.
• Analyze test results to identify root causes of failures in modem software and RF subsystems.
• Design and improve automated regression and qualification methodologies for high-quality software releases.
• Interpret 3GPP specifications to ensure complete test coverage for new features and technologies.
• Execute and analyze RF measurements including transmitter performance, spectrum emissions, and interoperability.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate test development, log analysis, and defect triage.
• Develop scripts and tools to improve test efficiency, reporting, and data analysis workflows.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong understanding of wireless communication systems, RF fundamentals, and 3GPP cellular technologies (preferred).
• Experience with RF measurements including power, spectrum, emissions, receiver sensitivity, and modulation quality (preferred).
• Experience developing automation solutions using Python and/or C++ (preferred).
• Experience using AI assistants and agentic tools to develop scripts, analyze logs, and accelerate debugging (preferred).
