Reliability Engineer Lead, Custom Silicon Management

What you'll do

• Drive requirements and execution of product, process, and package qualification from design through completion.
• Review Design for Reliability and Design for Test to ensure stress-ability and testability.
• Manage all aspects of qualification including material skew, electrical bias, thermal effects, and lifetime estimation.
• Implement plan of record for process flows and workmanship standards while supervising product performance.
• Perform First Article Inspections to ensure critical goals are met before production release.
• Resolve qualification fallouts and nonconformance events through failure analysis and 8D reporting.
• Conduct yield and correlation analyses across all test levels using Pareto building and statistics.
• Audit supplier sites and drive suppliers to improve silicon fabrication, packaging, and assembly processes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Experience with JEDEC reliability and quality related standards.
• 10+ years of semiconductor engineering in a Reliability and/or Quality/Product Engineering (preferred).
• Experience with silicon product level reliability qualification and lifetime behavior model (preferred).
• Prior experience defining hardware setups and equipment for life, environmental, ESD, Latch-Up and other tests (preferred).
• Validated auditing of supplier sites, materials, and processes (preferred).
• Experience driving suppliers in areas of silicon Fab process, packaging, assembly, test, and reliability monitoring (preferred).
• Familiarity with process flows, specifications, and supervising supplier performance (preferred).
