JOB TITLE: Release Programmer (RPG) The Card Processing Solutions team is seeking a Release Support Programmer Analyst to provide programming support for new releases of existing software for the CPS platform. In this role, you will support programming code for new and existing software enhancements, troubleshoot and debug existing code, and test fixes to ensure quality. You will provide programming support for various interfaces and keep customers informed of all enhancements and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of experience in an object-oriented programming language and is willing to work in a programming support environment rather than developing new code. Preferred skills include RPG experience, SQL experience, and a Bachelor's degree in a CIS or data processing field.

What you'll do

Support programming code for new and existing software enhancements.
Troubleshoot and debug existing software code.
Test code and fixes to ensure high quality.
Provide programming support for various system interfaces.
Inform customers of enhancements, troubleshooting progress, and technical fixes.
Advise customers on how system enhancements can improve business functions.
Participate in an on-call rotation outside of normal business hours.

What we're looking for

Candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.
Minimum of 2 years of experience programming in an object-oriented programming language from either a professional or educational background.
Must be willing to work in a programming support environment rather than developing new code.
Must be willing to work in an on-call rotation that is outside of normal business hours.
RPG experience (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in CIS or data processing field (preferred).
Experience working in a financial institution (preferred).
SQL experience (preferred).
