JOB TITLE: Red Team Operator The Red Team Operator joins the cybersecurity team within the DHS Chief Information Security Officer Directorate to support the implementation of regulatory requirements and maintain a secure computing environment. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive red teaming exercises to simulate real-world cyberattacks against organizational infrastructure, systems, and applications. You will identify weaknesses through active exploitation, collaborate with the Blue Team to enhance security posture, and provide detailed remediation reports. Required technical skills include experience with tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Cobalt Strike, Bloodhound, Responder, Tenable Nessus, WebInspect, Scuba, and AppDetective.
