What you'll do

Partner with hiring managers and engineering leaders to define software hiring requirements.
Translate technical role requirements into effective sourcing strategies and candidate engagement plans.
Identify and engage software engineering talent through LinkedIn, talent communities, and other sourcing channels.
Evaluate candidate profiles based on technical competencies, project experience, and educational background.
Conduct candidate conversations to assess technical expertise, career goals, and interest in IBM.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for niche and high-demand software engineering skills.
Provide hiring teams with market insights, competitor intelligence, and pipeline updates.
Manage the full candidate experience from initial sourcing through offer and onboarding stages.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline (preferred).
Ability to understand software skill sets, technology stacks, and engineering job requirements.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Golang, Python, Java, C, C++, or JavaScript (preferred).
Exposure to Linux, Cloud platforms, DevOps, Kubernetes, AI/ML, data engineering, or cybersecurity concepts (preferred).
Internship or project experience in engineering, technical research, consulting, talent sourcing, or technology recruitment (preferred).
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) or candidate sourcing platforms (preferred).
