R&D Engineer SW Quality III

What you'll do

• Translate technical specifications into comprehensive test plans for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, investigate, and track software defects to resolution using industry-standard tools like Jira.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or other scripting languages.
• Verify Brocade Fabric OS, hardware switching platforms, and management APIs.
• Analyze test results and provide quality status reports and release recommendations to management.
• Troubleshoot enterprise operating systems including Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.
• Test REST API concepts and ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electrical, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably Python, for test automation.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, VMware environments, AAA infrastructure, and vulnerability scanner applications.
• Solid knowledge of enterprise networking, routing, cryptography, and core protocols like TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SSH, and HTTPS.
• Foundational knowledge of SAN/Storage technologies and related protocols such as Fibre Channel, FCIP, and FICON.
• Experience with REST API concepts, usage, and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with security frameworks including secure coding, threat modeling (STRIDE), and CVSS metrics.
