What you'll do

Design, develop, and deploy novel quantum-enhanced applications and services for defense and national security.
Build hybrid quantum algorithms that focus on practical scalability and real-world applicability.
Translate complex problems into functional quantum algorithms, applications, and services.
Integrate quantum-enhanced solutions into existing and new defense systems.
Evaluate and communicate the trade-offs, scaling behaviors, and state-of-the-art capabilities of classical and quantum optimization tools.
Manage the full hybrid quantum software development lifecycle from initial concept to ongoing maintenance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Quantum Information Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
3+ years of professional software development experience with C, C++, Python, or other general-purpose compiled languages.
Practical experience in quantum computing, including programming quantum applications or circuit compilation.
Proficiency with quantum programming SDKs and APIs such as Qiskit, CUDA-Q, Q#, Cirq, or PennyLane.
Expertise in mathematical techniques including linear algebra, matrix decompositions, probability theory, group theory, and computational complexity.
Proficiency with database systems (SQL) and experience with Git version control, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience using GenAI tools for software development, code generation, debugging, and algorithmic exploration.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
