Quantum Data Center Systems Architect

What you'll do

• Lead the design of safe and efficient architectures for hybrid quantum data centers.
• Manage floor space layout and structural constraints for sensitive computational equipment.
• Coordinate below-grade infrastructure and site considerations for new data centers.
• Drive decision-making across datacenter infrastructure during initial build and testing.
• Work with engineering, vendor, and construction teams to commission complex systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience with high-reliability critical infrastructure like chilled water plants and redundant power systems
• Demonstrated experience working directly with engineering, vendor, and construction teams to build complex systems
• Advanced degree in mechanical engineering, thermal sciences, fluid mechanics, or systems engineering preferred
• Professional Engineer license or equivalent professional certification required
• Experience standing up new or unusual facilities and standardizing one-off builds into scalable designs
