What you'll do

  • Build and deploy hybrid computing platforms integrating large-scale GPU clusters with various quantum processors.
  • Integrate quantum control systems with HPC infrastructure using APIs, middleware, and orchestration frameworks.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and lifecycle management of Quantum environment including Linux systems and job schedulers.
  • Collaborate closely with networking teams to meet quantum hardware requirements for power, cooling, and low-latency connectivity.
  • Serve as technical interface to quantum hardware partners for system bring-up, connectivity, and co-design opportunities.
  • Partner with researchers to deploy, optimize, and benchmark hybrid workloads across simulation, error correction, calibration, optimization, and machine learning.

What we're looking for

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience operating HPC or large-scale compute infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong background in Linux systems administration and job schedulers like Slurm.
  • Experience with quantum computing concepts and hardware architectures (neutral atom, trapped ion).
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for automation and API integration.
  • Direct experience integrating physical quantum hardware in a data center environment.
  • Solid understanding of GPU-accelerated computing and heterogeneous systems.
