Propulsion Engineer Staff

What you'll do

• Define and refine product specifications for new and existing SRMs.
• Generate motor performance predictions and validate them against system models.
• Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans for SRM development.
• Lead weekly working group meetings with suppliers to drive technical resolutions.
• Present motor status updates at internal briefings and formal customer reviews.
• Coordinate interface development between design groups, materials, and production operations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 6+ years of propulsion experience.
• Proficiency in manufacturing execution systems, work-instruction management, and change control documentation.
• Strong understanding of advanced topics like polymer chemistry, thermochemistry, and ballistics.
• Ability to manage complex technical programs and collaborate with multi-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of nondestructive evaluation methods and statistical process controls.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting motor status updates at internal briefings and customer reviews.
• Experience in developing, reviewing, and executing comprehensive test plans for propulsion systems.
