What you'll do

  • Manage project execution from initiation through completion for multiple development projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Translate metrics, KPIs, and reporting into actionable steps to monitor project health and efficiency.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks while developing strategic response plans for successful delivery.
  • Create structure and implement new processes within a high-growth, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Transition composite manufacturing projects from the development phase into full-rate production.
  • Drive operational execution by solving complex challenges with a bias toward action.

What we're looking for

  • Must be able to work full-time on-site at the Morrisville, NC location.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, program management, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing operations, design engineering, consulting, or change management.
  • Ability to create structure and implement new processes in high growth and high change environments.
  • Proven ability to drive operational execution while thinking strategically.
  • Comfort making decisions in ambiguous situations with limited data.
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle including design, development, production, and manufacturing readiness.
  • High EQ and ability to collaborate and influence across all levels and disciplines.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience overall in relevant domains (preferred).
  • Experience taking new products or production systems from development to full-scale production (preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of co-design, engineering, and manufacturing phases of the product lifecycle (preferred).
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of hardware engineering and manufacturing domains (preferred).
  • Experience in Aerospace composites or other AS9100 manufacturing environments (preferred).
  • Experience implementing digital systems such as PLM, ERP, or MES (preferred).
  • Strong data analytics ability to pull and interpret data from multiple systems (preferred).
