What you'll do

Drive hardware engineering execution across multiple programs within the Command Systems Business Unit.
Implement integrated hardware engineering processes consistently across all national locations and subcontractor sites.
Manage development aspects including mission/weapon system engineering and nuclear surety for SDS Division programs.
Ensure on-time release of hardware designs, focusing on compliance and delivery to meet requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering staff at various levels within the organization.
Horizontally integrate across Design Engineering directorate to ensure consistency in design approaches.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of progressive engineering experience or Master’s with 8 years.
Experience managing people and leading hardware design teams.
At least 3 years designing and developing complex hardware systems.
Proven expertise in EVMS on hardware development programs.
Strong leadership skills and ability to interface with high-level stakeholders.
Active Secret clearance required for the position.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
