As a Technology Service Senior Specialist at Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank Payments team, you will support Instant Payments and Bulk platforms, ensuring the stability and reliability of high-volume real-time payment systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include resolving complex production issues across application and infrastructure layers, collaborating with L3 CIO and global teams to restore service and improve monitoring automation. You will also participate in Change Advisory Board calls, contribute to reducing production risk, and maintain documentation for resilience exercises. The role requires hands-on experience with distributed systems, Unix, MQ, Kafka, relational databases, and cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud. Additionally, you should be proficient in ITIL processes, monitoring tools such as Geneos, AppDynamics, and Grafana, and scripting languages including Shell, Python, or PowerShell. This position demands a strong analytical mindset and the ability to operate effectively under pressure while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for
Proven experience in large-scale production support within Financial Services or Payments.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems across Unix, MQ, Kafka, relational databases.
Experience using monitoring tools like Shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, AppDynamics, Grafana.
Understanding of SRE concepts including service reliability metrics and continuous improvement practices.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud and automation tools like Ansible.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex production issues under pressure.
