Production Support Engineering LMTS

What you'll do

• Own the reliability roadmap for major product areas, transitioning systems from startup-speed to global-scale enterprise solutions.
• Refine infrastructure strategy with PMTS-level engineers, contributing senior perspectives on system design and capacity planning.
• Maintain and evolve automated environments, focusing on robustness and developer-friendliness in an "infrastructure-as-plugins" model.
• Support scaling of AI/ML infrastructure, ensuring GPU resources and data pipelines are optimized for real-time supply chain insights.
• Lead the hardening of observability stack to prevent incidents through proactive tooling and telemetry development.
• Dive into SQL optimization, API latency, and cross-service communication to ensure platform performance under heavy load.
• Automate routine operational tasks using AI tools to accelerate infrastructure delivery and improve engineering efficiency.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years experience in SRE, Production Engineering, or Backend Engineering with a focus on operations and scale.
• Proven ability to scale products through high-growth phases, addressing technical debt and architectural shifts.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, AWS/GCP/Azure, and coding in Golang, TypeScript, or Python.
• Expertise in distributed systems, including debugging complex interactions between microservices, databases, and AI agents.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL at scale, including partitioning, indexing, and query tuning.
• Advanced knowledge of microservice orchestration, Temporal for workflow reliability, and service mesh for secure communication.
• M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; Salesforce infrastructure familiarity is a plus.
