As a Product Software Engineer II on the Content Platform Engineering team, you will build and enhance platform capabilities with a focus on supporting ingest and packaging platforms and workflows. You will develop both backend and frontend solutions to solve complex problems involving fulfilling, validating, packaging, and delivering assets and metadata to internal and external partners. Your daily work involves designing, writing, testing, and deploying high-quality code while providing technical mentorship to junior engineers and monitoring production systems for stability. The role requires proficiency in object-oriented programming, non-relational databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB, cloud technologies such as AWS, and a tech stack including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, React, and Docker. You will work within the media supply chain to manage the technical operations of distribution and monetization for linear networks and theatrical content.

What you'll do

Design, write, test, and deploy high-quality code to develop reliable and maintainable software solutions.
Develop backend and frontend solutions to fulfill, validate, package, and deliver assets and metadata.
Enhance and support existing ingest and packaging platforms and workflows.
Monitor and optimize production systems to ensure platform stability, performance, and uptime.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Translate business strategies into innovative products and platforms for the media supply chain.
Solve complex technical problems related to content distribution and monetization across global networks.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a technical field.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming and software development.
Knowledge of non-relational database systems such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
Knowledge of cloud providers like AWS or other cloud technologies.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
Knowledge of React and Docker.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
