As a Product Safety Engineer 3 within the Global Products Group, you will independently drive product safety activities for semiconductor capital equipment. You will collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to define, implement, and sustain safety requirements throughout the product lifecycle. Your daily responsibilities include performing system-level hazard analysis and risk assessments across electrical, mechanical, chemical, and ergonomic domains while developing maintenance and service procedures. You will ensure compliance by interpreting industry standards such as SEMI S1, S2, S6, S8, S10, S13, S14, CE Marking directives, and NFPA 79. To succeed, you must be able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings while managing third-party certification assessments. This role solves critical safety challenges in the semiconductor manufacturing industry by ensuring complex equipment meets global regulatory requirements and protects personnel and the environment.
