What you'll do

Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software, firmware, and Information Assurance systems.
Perform technical activities related to the design, manufacture, and repair of advanced electronics systems.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including PTOMs, MRCs, MIPs, RRMs, and IETMs.
Support system upgrades, downgrades, restoration, and validation activities for complex mission systems.
Execute formal and informal test events in laboratory, government, and shipboard environments.
Identify and document hardware, software, and firmware defects to support resolution by engineering teams.
Ensure all deliverables comply with program, customer, and security requirements including configuration management.
Communicate project status, risks, and test results to management and stakeholders during Agile/Scrum meetings.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, is required.
Prior U.S. Navy experience as a Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) is required.
Minimum of five years of experience supporting the AN/BYG-1 combat system is required.
Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and network-connected equipment is required.
Proficiency with issue-tracking tools such as GitLab, Jira, or Redmine is required.
CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications are preferred.
