Principal Systems Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Designs and develops complex system software modules for managing large-scale server fleets.
• Leads automation of hardware provisioning and onboarding processes in hyperscale environments.
• Conducts deep-dive investigations to resolve complex issues across multiple technology layers.
• Elevates code quality through reviews, patterns, and tooling standards.
• Guides platform bring-up and diagnostics, collaborating with silicon and firmware partners.
• Implements firmware components integrating diverse interfaces and protocols for advanced features.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience in systems software engineering with a focus on complex module design.
• Proven ability to lead investigations for system incidents and implement durable fixes.
• Expertise in designing performance and reliability enhancements for large-scale infrastructure.
• Strong background in code reviews, setting quality standards, and ensuring observability and security.
• Experience guiding platform bring-up, diagnostics, and collaborating with hardware partners.
• Skilled in firmware component design and cross-domain issue diagnosis using advanced tools.
• Knowledge of ARM, AMD, Intel platforms, and custom ASIC/FPGA systems.
