As a Principal Systems Engineer within the Surgical Operating Unit, you will provide technical leadership for a large portfolio of wound management and hernia products, including sutures, needles, and meshes. You will serve as a subject matter expert driving requirements definition, risk management, design change assessments, and traceability activities across complex product families. What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of engineering experience, a Master's with 5+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years is required.
Experience performing systems engineering in regulated environments including requirements management, risk management, verification, and validation is required.
Experience supporting design controls and product lifecycle activities for commercialized products is required.
Ability to lead technical projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders is required.
Must be able to work onsite in North Haven, Connecticut.
A degree in Systems, Biomedical, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Experience in the medical device industry with wound management or similar products is preferred.
