What you'll do

Design and lead the strategic direction of enterprise SAN, NAS, and hybrid cloud storage platforms.
Engineer high-availability Fiber Channel SAN infrastructures including zoning, multipathing, and fabric optimization.
Manage data lifecycle strategies, including tiering, capacity modeling, and performance tuning for file services.
Develop automation solutions using APIs and scripting to streamline provisioning, monitoring, and operations.
Design disaster recovery strategies and lead failover testing to ensure business continuity.
Serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex storage and networking issues.
Mentor senior engineers and provide architectural guidance across infrastructure and platform teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
12+ years of experience managing enterprise storage environments.
5+ years in a senior architect, principal engineer, or technical leadership role.
Deep expertise with enterprise SAN technologies, Fiber Channel architectures, and NAS platforms.
Strong understanding of storage networking concepts, including switches, fabrics, and connectivity.
Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, capacity management, and supporting mission-critical production environments.
Strong scripting and automation experience using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar tools.
Experience with specific enterprise platforms (HPE, NetApp, Dell, Pure), cloud storage, or industry certifications (preferred).
