As a Principal Software Engineer on the Security of MSRC team, you will help transform the vulnerability management ecosystem into a unified, secure, and resilient platform. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Master's Degree in Computer Science and 12+ years of technical engineering experience is preferred.
A Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of technical engineering experience is an alternative preferred qualification.
Candidates must be able to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
At least 4 years of practical experience in high performance applications and performance debug/optimization on CPUs and GPUs.
A solid foundation in software engineering principles, computer architecture, GPU architecture, and hardware neural net acceleration.
Experience in end-to-end performance analysis and optimization of state-of-the-art LLMs and HPC applications using GPU profiling tools.
