What you'll do

Implement strict privacy boundaries and secure PII handling from the start of development.
Establish production quality, resilience, and observability standards for large-scale distributed graph platforms.
Translate early-stage concepts and ambiguous requirements into actionable MVPs and technical plans.
Mentor engineering team members to improve technical standards through knowledge sharing and pairing.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience designing, building, and operating high-scale distributed systems, graph databases, and complex data models.
Deep hands-on expertise in a production-grade codebase using a modern programming language with high quality standards.
Proven experience as a technical anchor owning system architecture and leading cross-functional engineering teams.
Ability to wrangle ambiguity by proactively clarifying boundaries and turning concepts into actionable MVPs.
Commitment to collaborative team dynamics, mentorship, and raising the team's technical bar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and drive alignment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
Ability to work non-standard, on-call rotation weekend and holiday hours.
