Principal Scientist, Biostatistics

What you'll do

• Design and execute statistical studies and experiments for Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Discovery, and Manufacturing Sciences programs.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation using R, SAS, and other advanced computational tools to support research and development.
• Optimize study designs, including scenario simulations and sample size calculations, to meet specific project objectives.
• Implement advanced statistical techniques and innovative data-adaptive methods to address complex program features.
• Ensure all statistical methodologies comply with health authority standards and align with scientific and business needs.
• Lead the development of high-quality statistical reports and communication for internal teams and regulatory bodies.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with internal colleagues and external partners like CROs to improve project efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements and stay current on emerging trends in statistical methodologies.

What we're looking for

• A Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience is required.
• A PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Proficiency in SAS and R programming is required.
• Proficiency in other computational tools such as East Horizon, RPACT, FACTS, or Python is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary contexts outside of statistics is required.
