Principal Scientist, Biostatistics

What you'll do

• Design and execute statistical studies and experiments for clinical development, medical affairs, and manufacturing programs.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation using R, SAS, and other advanced computational tools.
• Optimize study designs to improve inferential insights while minimizing time, cost, and risk.
• Conduct scenario simulations and sample size calculations based on technical and area-specific knowledge.
• Implement advanced statistical techniques and innovative data-adaptive methods for complex project features.
• Lead the development of high-quality statistical methodologies in compliance with health authority standards.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with internal teams and external partners like CROs to ensure project success.
• Identify and report on scientific trends to drive advancements in statistical methodologies through scholarly publications.

What we're looking for

• A Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience is required.
• A PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Proficiency in SAS and R programming is required.
• Proficiency in other computational tools such as East Horizon, RPACT, FACTS, or Python is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary contexts outside of statistics is required.
