As a Principal RFIC Engineer (Starshield Silicon), you will join the Starshield team to develop next-generation RFICs for space and ground infrastructures supporting national security efforts in earth observation, communications, and hosted payloads. You will design, simulate, and model RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuits while deriving specifications for subsystems. Your daily work involves developing circuits in SiGe, GaAs, GaN, or CMOS processes, performing IC floor planning, and managing packaging prototypes through production release. You will collaborate with system architects and ASIC engineers to partition hardware and software functions. Key technical requirements include proficiency with Spectre, ADS, HFSS, or Momentum tools, and experience with components like phase-locked loops, oscillators, and power amplifiers. You must possess deep knowledge of RF front end blocks from S-band to W-band and familiarity with spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
