  • Architect engine components and controls for UAVs, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Design inlet and exhaust shaping in collaboration with CAD teams.
  • Influence jet engine OEM design decisions to align with vehicle requirements.
  • Define comprehensive propulsion test programs and manage supplier relationships.
  • Troubleshoot system-level anomalies during testing phases.
  • Advise executive leadership on technical risks and mentor junior engineers.

What we're looking for

  • Over 15 years of propulsion engineering experience on air vehicles.
  • Professional experience with jet engines ranging from 250 to 20,000 lbf thrust class.
  • Expertise in engine cycle decks and thermodynamic modeling for OEM design decisions.
  • Served as Chief Engineer or ultimate technical authority on major propulsion programs.
  • Experience in defining comprehensive propulsion test programs and troubleshooting system anomalies.
  • Active secret security clearance required.
  • Advised executive leadership on technical risks and represented the company to key stakeholders.
