What you'll do

  • Set the strategic direction for Netflix’s Compute platforms to support an agent-first world.
  • Lead the migration from Titus to a modern Kubernetes stack while weighing migration costs against platform value.
  • Own the roadmap for provisioning, scheduling, and utilization of GPU capacity for training and inference workloads.
  • Develop a secure, managed environment for millions of agents with built-in identity, isolation, and cost tracking.
  • Create a seamless experience across the compute spectrum from VMs to functions to simplify infrastructure for internal teams.
  • Define systems to manage compute supply and demand to ensure efficient resource use and cost control.
  • Establish clear metrics for platform adoption, utilization, cost per workload, and reliability.
  • Partner with Ads, Live, Games, and Studio teams to support demanding workloads and latency-sensitive processing.

What we're looking for

  • More than 10 years of experience in technical product management or a similar technical role in compute infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of compute infrastructure, including containers, Kubernetes, scheduling, orchestration, autoscaling, capacity management, multi-tenancy, and cloud economics.
  • Strong understanding of AI infrastructure, including GPU provisioning, scheduling, utilization for distributed training/inference, and agentic workload needs.
  • Experience leading a large replatform or migration from start to finish.
  • Ability to debate architecture, trade-offs, and system quality with senior engineers.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to explain complex decisions to technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to make clear decisions with incomplete information and hold direction under pressure.
  • Ability to earn the trust of experienced engineers and challenge their thinking in useful ways.
