Principal Product Designer, AI-Native Accountant Suite

What you'll do

• Define and own the cross-product object model, including core objects, attributes, and relationships.
• Map how objects behave and connect across different surfaces to eliminate experience fragmentation.
• Apply object-oriented UX methods to create reusable navigation, views, and interaction patterns.
• Design identity, roles, and permissions for multi-user firms with complex hierarchies.
• Extend identity and access rules to AI agents to ensure secure and transparent actions.
• Partner with engineering to align the experience model with data models and platform services.
• Facilitate alignment between designers, PMs, and engineers to build shared ownership of the model.
• Mentor senior and staff designers in experience architecture and platform thinking.

What we're looking for

• Deep expertise in systems design and experience architecture, including object-oriented UX, information architecture, and domain modeling.
• Track record of designing identity, roles, permissions, and access for multi-user products at scale.
• Demonstrated success shaping platform-level or ecosystem-level design strategy across multiple teams and surfaces.
• Ability to engage credibly on data models and entitlements while maintaining depth in product judgment and craft.
• Strong facilitation instincts to build alignment and create forward motion without formal authority.
• Hands-on fluency with AI as a design material and AI-powered prototyping tools like Claude or Cursor.
• Excellent executive communication skills to make complex structural concepts clear through frameworks and visual storytelling.
• Demonstrated mentorship of senior designers and experience with accounting, fintech, or high-trust B2B domains (preferred).
