The Principal Engineer - Security Logging & Detection serves as the technical leader for the engineering, reliability, and evolution of security logging and telemetry platforms. What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive experience in Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, Logging, Observability, Detection Engineering, or closely related disciplines.
Strong understanding of security logging architectures and telemetry pipelines, including data collection, transport, normalization, enrichment, storage, retention, and access patterns.
Experience building, operating, and scaling distributed systems or enterprise data pipelines.
Experience working closely with Security Operations, Threat Detection, Incident Response, or Security Analytics teams.
Strong technical leadership with the ability to influence architecture and engineering decisions across multiple teams.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with AI-enabled tools, large-scale cloud-native infrastructure, or professional certifications in Security, Cloud, or Software Engineering (preferred).
