What you'll do

  • Serve as the technical owner and architectural leader for security logging and detection capabilities.
  • Design and build logging pipelines and telemetry services across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

  • Ensure the reliability, integrity, and availability of log data to support threat detection and incident response.
  • Drive automation and engineering best practices to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled technologies for security engineering workflows and telemetry analysis.
  • Define technical standards, documentation, and operational processes to improve platform resilience and maintainability.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives and cross-functional teams.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, Logging, Observability, Detection Engineering, or closely related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of security logging architectures and telemetry pipelines including collection, transport, normalization, enrichment, storage, retention, and access patterns.
  • Experience building, operating, and scaling distributed systems or enterprise data pipelines.
  • Experience working closely with Security Operations, Threat Detection, Incident Response, or Security Analytics teams.
  • Strong technical leadership skills to influence architecture and engineering decisions across multiple teams.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools, large-scale cloud-native infrastructure, or professional certifications in Security, Cloud, or Software Engineering (preferred).
