Principal Engineer AI/ML

What you'll do

• Shape the technical vision and roadmap for GenAI initiatives to extract insights and generate on-brand content.
• Architect multimodal systems using NLP, Linguistics, and Computer Vision for text, image, and video generation.
• Drive innovation in embedding models, contrastive learning, and reinforcement learning to improve retrieval and recommendation at scale.
• Design end-to-end AI systems utilizing LLMs, VLMs, multi-agent frameworks, and enterprise search for production workflows.
• Develop advanced evaluation systems using LLM-as-judge, A/B testing, and human-in-the-loop workflows to validate outputs.
• Analyze trade-offs between cost, latency, and accuracy while ensuring compliance with privacy and security constraints.
• Translate complex models into production-ready services by collaborating with data, research, and product teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and establish high technical standards across the engineering organization.

What we're looking for

• 14+ years of experience in AI/ML with a track record of technical leadership across multiple divisions or product areas.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Deep expertise in NLP, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.
• Expert-level experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG/GraphRAG, vector databases, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Proficiency with Python and modern ML frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, JAX, Hugging Face, and CUDA.
• Extensive experience in MLOps/LLMOps including distributed training, model serving, feature stores, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid grasp of data engineering including dataset management, feature engineering, labeling pipelines, and quality frameworks at scale.
• Proven ability to mentor senior engineers and establish technical standards across teams.
