As a Principal Digital Assets Engineer, you will join the team to build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based microservices while defining enterprise-level digital architecture strategies. You will develop applications for complex projects, design REST API clients, manage asynchronous message exchanges, and maintain data using PostgreSQL and Oracle databases with Liquibase migration tools. Your daily work involves writing automated unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito, packaging software in Docker containers, and managing deployments via Jenkins CI/CD pipelines on AWS platforms. You will utilize Java, Spring Boot, J2EE frameworks, Apache Kafka, and SNS/SQS to solve technical challenges for the division. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, provide technical evaluations for new systems, and ensure code maintainability using SonarQube while collaborating with architecture teams to deliver enterprise-standard solutions in Kubernetes environments.
Build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based microservices using modern software development practices.
Design and implement REST API clients and services for enterprise applications.
Manage asynchronous message exchanges between services using tools like SNS, SQS, and Apache Kafka.
Write automated unit and integration tests to ensure systems meet technical requirements.
Package software using containers and coordinate builds through CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
Perform complex technical and functional analysis to plan new system installations or modifications.
Optimize queries and perform operations in relational and non-relational databases like PostgreSQL.
Develop original technical solutions for ongoing development efforts and mentor junior team members.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and experience as a Principal Digital Assets Engineer.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and experience as a Principal Digital Assets Engineer.
Experience developing scalable back-end solutions for RESTful microservices using SNS/SQS, Apache Kafka, and Spring Boot framework.
Expertise designing Java RESTful Web services using J2EE frameworks and messaging services like JMS or Apache Kafka.
Experience delivering solutions on AWS platforms using Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Git, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing with Spring.
Ability to ensure code maintainability using Sonar and SonarQube frameworks.
Expertise in writing and optimizing queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases using Liquibase migration tools.
