What you'll do

Operate and support production cloud services for critical customer migration and data replication workloads.
Monitor service health, investigate incidents, and lead troubleshooting efforts for complex production issues.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to drive corrective actions.
Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical issues lacking established standard operating procedures.
Partner with software development teams to improve service architecture, reliability, scalability, and operational readiness.
Design and implement automation to reduce operational overhead and increase service efficiency.
Build and maintain observability solutions including monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance dashboards.
Execute capacity planning, performance analysis, and disaster recovery initiatives across cloud environments.

What we're looking for

Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility.
7+ years of production engineering experience in distributed services or cloud platforms (preferred).
Proven experience with automation and proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python.
Solid understanding of Software Engineering, Computer Science principles, and Linux Systems Engineering.
Solid understanding of Networking, Security, and Storage.
Experience with Docker and Infrastructure as Code concepts using Terraform and/or Ansible.
Experience building fully automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, or TeamCity.
Experience managing cloud services at a major provider like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI (preferred).
