Principal Cybersecurity Domain Architect

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, and multi-year roadmaps for network, endpoint, and detection systems.
• Serve as the primary design authority for reviewing and approving security designs for new technologies and initiatives.
• Define technology strategies and selection criteria for EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and other core security platforms.
• Drive enterprise-wide strategies for Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, network segmentation, and secure access.
• Develop detection and response capabilities specifically for AI systems and autonomous agent technologies.
• Conduct security risk assessments to identify control gaps and recommend remediation strategies for proposed solutions.
• Mentor engineers and serve as the senior technical expert for complex decisions and executive briefings.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with significant time spent in security architecture and engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in network security, endpoint security, and detection & response within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience developing security reference architectures, standards, governance models, and strategic technology roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, and frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and ISO 27001.
• Experience evaluating, designing, and implementing EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and modern network security platforms.
• Understanding of emerging AI security risks and the ability to address agentic threats.
• CISSP, ISSAP, GIAC, SABSA, cloud security, or other advanced cybersecurity certifications (preferred).
