NVIDIA is seeking a Principal Engineer to join its cutting-edge team focused on integrating AI agents into internal workflows. Architect agent identity security features for diverse environments, applying relevant standards and prototyping innovative solutions.
Identify and prototype MVPs for ambiguous security issues, validating with partner teams to ensure production readiness.
Develop reusable skills, CLI tools, APIs, and integration patterns to support secure agent identities across enterprise platforms.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align agentic identity architecture with workflow needs and operational constraints.
Evaluate emerging standards and technologies in agentic identity, translating them into internal builds and roadmap recommendations.
What we're looking for
15+ years of hands-on technical leadership in software engineering, security engineering, identity, distributed systems, or related fields.
Proven ability to frame complex problem spaces, define MVPs, prototype quickly, and evolve ideas into reliable production systems.
Strong background in software engineering with experience in backend services, APIs, automation, platform components, and learning new technologies.
Experience in offensive security, adversarial thinking, red teaming, or attack-path analysis for architecture decisions and security tradeoffs.
Hands-on expertise with container technologies, network infrastructure, and cloud service provider environments.
Deep understanding of identity and access concepts such as OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SCIM, mTLS, SPIFFE, MCP, AuthZen, certificate lifecycle management, and secrets management.
Familiarity with AI-specific security risks and agentic or AI-adjacent systems including tool-using applications, workflow orchestration, policy controls, memory/context services, trust and discovery systems.
