Principal Cyber Security Engineer, Agentic Identity and Security

What you'll do

• Architect and build agent identity security features for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Prototype and iterate on credential brokering, token exchange, delegation, and workload identity management.
• Develop reusable skills, CLI tools, APIs, and integration patterns to support secure agent identity.
• Identify high-value MVPs for ambiguous security problems and evolve them into production-ready services.
• Evaluate emerging standards and open-source technologies to inform internal builds and roadmap recommendations.
• Define architectural directions and engineering standards for agentic identity across the company.
• Integrate hardware-backed trust signals and device posture into access decisions for agent workflows.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, identity, or distributed systems.
• Proven track record of framing complex problems, defining MVPs, and prototyping solutions into production systems.
• Strong backend development skills including building APIs, automation, and platform components across various languages and frameworks.
• Experience in offensive security, red teaming, or attack-path analysis to inform architecture decisions.
• Knowledge of device trust, endpoint posture, and hardware-backed trust signals for agentic and workload workflows.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies, network infrastructure, and major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of identity concepts including OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SCIM, mTLS, SPIFFE, and certificate lifecycle management.
