As a Principal Business Product Manager - Forecasting within the Insights & Analytics Product Suite team, you will serve as a domain expert translating complex pharmaceutical forecasting dynamics into scalable, modern products and platforms. You will lead the evolution of the Commercial Forecasting ecosystem by moving the organization from fragmented, manual processes toward a unified, predictive, and data-driven platform to improve transparency and modeling agility. Your daily responsibilities include managing the full product lifecycle, defining roadmaps, overseeing business process mapping, and conducting User Acceptance Testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, IT engineering, and Finance to develop analytical models, API service layers, and intuitive UI/UX capabilities. Key technical competencies include experience with AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT, Jira, Tableau or Power BI, and navigating complex pharmaceutical data sets within regulated healthcare environments.
Translate pharmaceutical forecasting domain knowledge into scalable, data-driven products and platforms.
Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the forecasting portfolio.
Manage advanced data and analytics products through their full lifecycle from ideation to optimization.
Partner with technical teams to develop analytical models, API service layers, and UI/UX capabilities.
Oversee business process mapping, user feedback collection, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Establish agile operational standards, backlog management, and reusable product templates.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, finance partners, and technical teams.
Coach and mentor cross-functional team members to upskill the broader product community.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, or another quantitative field.
8+ years of total professional experience.
At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical analytics or business analytics product management across multiple therapeutic areas.
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner guiding an analytical or digital product through its full lifecycle.
Strong domain expertise in pharmaceutical forecasting and pharma data across commercial, medical, sales, and access.
Extensive experience working in Agile environments, managing complex backlogs, and coordinating with IT and Data engineering teams.
Exceptional presentation skills to evangelize product vision to both technical and non-technical audiences.
MBA or MS in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field (preferred); experience with AI tools, Jira, data visualization, and regulated healthcare data (preferred).
