Principal Build & Release Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and own the end-to-end build, release, and productionization of AI-enabled engineering capabilities.
• Productionize multimodal, agentic LLM, and other AI solutions for engine design, manufacturing, and sustainment.
• Architect and build end-to-end services integrated with CFD, FEA, thermal analysis, and PLM systems.
• Manage the model and agent delivery lifecycle, including data pipelines, CI/CD, containerized deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure all AI solutions comply with data security, export control (ITAR), and RMF/ATO requirements.
• Lead technical investment decisions regarding compute, model hosting, tooling, and build vs. buy strategies.
• Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and mentorship to engineers across various business organizations.
• Transition delivered capabilities to program ownership with full documentation and user training.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM major.
• Minimum of 10 years of overall engineering experience.
• Experience productionizing AI/ML systems and end-to-end service delivery.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a required U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information as a U.S. Person.
• Working fluency in the physics and engineering of aero engines and turbomachinery (preferred).
• Strong software development in Python and at least one systems language like C++, Rust, Go, or Java (preferred).
