Principal Build & Release Engineer

What you'll do

• Build and productionize multimodal, agentic LLM solutions for engine design, manufacturing, and sustainment workflows.
• Architect and develop end-to-end services that integrate AI with CFD, FEA, and other engineering data systems.
• Manage the full model delivery lifecycle including data pipelines, CI/CD, containerized deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure all AI solutions comply with strict data security and export control requirements like ITAR and CMMC.
• Translate complex business challenges into technical roadmaps and recommend best practices for product improvement.
• Advise leadership on technical investments regarding compute, model hosting, tooling, and build versus buy decisions.
• Act as a technical authority to provide design reviews and mentorship to embedded engineering teams.
• Transition delivered capabilities to program owners with full documentation and user training.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM major.
• Minimum of 10 years of overall engineering experience.
• Experience producing AI/ML systems and end-to-end service delivery.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one systems language such as C++, Rust, Go, or Java.
• Strong DevSecOps and MLOps capabilities including cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work within ITAR, export control, CMMC, and RMF/ATO requirements.
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) and able to maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
