What you'll do

  • Lead automation and machine vision initiatives including equipment qualification and performance optimization.
  • Support automated manufacturing systems through technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Develop and maintain the site's automation roadmap and project pipeline to meet operational objectives.
  • Identify and implement emerging automation technologies to enhance manufacturing performance and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute automation projects across the manufacturing site.
  • Ensure all automated systems comply with quality, validation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to standardize solutions and share best practices across manufacturing sites.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Controls Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting manufacturing automation, controls, robotics, machine vision, or industrial equipment.
  • Experience leading technical projects and troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading equipment qualification, validation, and change control activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Automation, Controls, Computer Vision, Data Science, or AI (preferred).
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments (preferred).
  • Experience with robotics, motion control, PLC, HMI, and advanced inspection technologies (preferred).
  • Work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
