JOB TITLE: Principal Applied Scientist (OCI/GenAI) As a Principal Applied Scientist within the Generative AI Science team, you will join a group responsible for growing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s Generative AI, Agent, and Analytics services. You will architect, build, and deploy high-quality AI models and solutions at scale, focusing on research and development for Large Language Models, Data Agents, and Analytics. What you'll do

What we're looking for

Must have a PhD or a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in Computer Science focused on LLM, Agent, and Analytics.
Must possess a strong publication record as a lead author in top-tier journals or AI/LLM/Analytics conferences.
Must have extensive experience in NLP, LLM, VLM, Retrieval, Enrichment, and Analytics.
Must have a proven track record of leading research and development projects.
Must have a strong understanding of AI/ML algorithms and architectures.
Must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must be proficient in AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and RAG.
