Principal Applied AI Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Hire, coach, and develop a team of Applied AI Engineers to build production AI services.
• Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of agentic AI services from specification to deployment.
• Define technical standards for architecture patterns, code quality, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ensure deployed AI agents meet performance and safety standards through continuous monitoring.
• Build and maintain evaluation systems to validate agent correctness before and after deployment.
• Influence product roadmaps by translating customer support signals into engineering priorities.

What we're looking for

• Over 6 years of experience in AI/ML system development using Python and C#.
• Proficiency in building LLM-based systems, including prompt engineering and RAG architectures.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud-native service development practices.
• At least 3 years of people management or informal team leadership experience.
• Strong background in managing AI solutions such as chatbots and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Experience with TDD, CI/CD pipelines, staged rollouts, and full observability for production systems.
• Deep understanding of responsible AI practices and compliance standards.
