As a Principal Anaplan Architect, you will join a dynamic Product Team to drive innovation within a highly integrated Financial Planning landscape. You will be responsible for defining architectural principles, leading model building activities including module validation and performance optimization, and managing technology roadmaps in collaboration with the Finance team. The role involves serving as a technical lead in a DevOps model, providing guidance to less experienced team members while maintaining SDLC documentation using Agile tools like Confluence. To succeed, you must possess expertise in Anaplan planning solutions, scenario planning, and potentially AI/ML modeling. Required skills include proficiency with Jira, PowerBI, and cloud ETL tools like Databricks. You will solve complex business problems by translating requirements into technical solutions to support global professionals across Finance, Research and Development, and Global Commercial Operations.
Define and implement architectural principles and standards for Anaplan models across the organization.
Lead model building activities including module construction, calculation validation, security management, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with Product Owners and SMEs to prioritize application focus and rollout plans.
Plan and manage technology roadmaps in coordination with the Finance team.
Serve as a technical knowledge resource for less experienced team members.
Lead operational support for deployed Anaplan solutions within a DevOps framework.
Maintain SDLC documentation using Agile tools such as Confluence.
What we're looking for
Must have a Doctorate with 2 years of Information Systems experience, or a Master's with 4 years, or a Bachelor's with 6 years, or an Associate's with 10 years, or a high school diploma with 12 years.
Proven experience implementing and managing multiple Anaplan Planning solutions.
Must be an Anaplan Certified Solution Architect or a Master Anaplanner.
Experience working in DevOps teams using agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
Strong solution design, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
Ability to translate complex technical topics for diverse audiences and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with cloud ETL tools like Databricks and PowerBI is preferred.
Must be willing and able to work evening or night shifts as required by business needs.
