What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and implement modern data analytics solutions.

  • Build reproducible machine learning workflows using configurations, logging, and versioning.
  • Develop computer vision pipelines for video data using tools like OpenCV and ffmpeg.
  • Debug and fine-tune PyTorch training and inference processes on GPU hardware.
  • Contribute original ideas to shape innovative approaches and solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Current enrollment in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid scientific and analytical basic understanding.
  • Very good knowledge of Python including software engineering best practices such as Git, clean environments, and basic testing.
  • Practical experience with PyTorch, including fine-tuning, checkpointing, and debugging training and inference processes on GPU basis.
  • Practical experience in Computer Vision with video data using tools like OpenCV and ffmpeg to build data pipelines.
  • Experience developing reproducible machine learning workflows using configurations, logging, and versioning.
  • Good German language skills (at least level B2) and very good English skills in speaking and writing.
  • Strong interest in current IT trends, data analytics, and new technologies.
