What you'll do

  • Execute end-to-end statistical analyses on large-scale genomic and clinical datasets within secure research environments.
  • Prepare technical papers, scientific progress reports, and original research articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Utilize high-performance computing and cloud-based environments to support scalable data processing and model development.
  • Review scientific literature and abstracts to design new laboratory procedures and experimental techniques.
  • Seek independent funding from foundations and associations for pilot studies with leadership approval.

What we're looking for

  • A doctorate degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R for statistical analysis and biomedical data processing.
  • Strong proficiency in machine learning and statistical modeling, including the development of predictive models using large-scale data.
  • Proficiency in large language model (LLM) and natural language processing methods for analyzing unstructured clinical and biomedical data.
  • Experience with cloud-based and high-performance computing environments to support scalable data processing.
