Platform Software Engineer In Test (Intern)

What you'll do

• Evaluate new software features to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.
• Identify software issues and troubleshoot technical problems to find root causes.
• Use Python, C++, Perl, or Shell scripting to perform testing activities.
• Apply analytical thinking to investigate complex software behavior.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, test design, and documentation.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, reliability, and security.
• Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Must be a junior, senior, or graduate-level student.
• Understand operating systems, relational databases, networking concepts, and client-server architectures.
• Demonstrate familiarity with concurrent computing concepts and file system management.
• Understand software development lifecycles and quality assurance methodologies.
• Use programming or scripting languages such as Python, C++, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Communicate technical information clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience in software development, software testing, or system engineering is preferred (preferred).
