Platform Security Certification Engineer

What you'll do

• Define and lead the security certification strategy for all Apple platforms and operating systems.
• Develop and operate security certification processes for hardware and software products.
• Drive complex product certifications from inception to completion using various industry standards.
• Write product security profiles for evaluation scoping, including Security Targets and Protection Profiles.
• Coordinate with industry representatives, evaluation laboratories, and governmental bodies to ensure compliance.
• Contribute to the development of global security standards and evaluation schemes.
• Work cross-functionally with internal software, hardware, and marketing teams to implement security strategies.

What we're looking for

• Experience in security and/or security certifications.
• Working knowledge of Common Criteria and FIPS 140-2/3 certifications, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with software, hardware, marketing, and support teams.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to represent the organization to internal and external stakeholders.
• Significant understanding of security engineering principles (preferred).
• Experience working with certification bodies and evaluation laboratories (preferred).
• Experience writing product security profiles for evaluation scoping (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (preferred).
