Platform Engineer, Security (Platform Architecture)

What you'll do

• Develop threat models and security architectures for new products and technologies.
• Derive system security requirements and design novel mitigations with engineering teams.
• Create detailed system-level specifications to guide product development, integration, and quality assurance.
• Drive the adoption of platform-level security architectures across hardware, software, and server elements.
• Identify emerging threats and new attack vectors to evolve architecture ahead of industry trends.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to define, drive, and productize security features.
• Design security solutions that enhance the profile of SoCs, devices, and factories.

What we're looking for

• A BS degree or relevant industry experience is required.
• Experience with basic cryptographic principles including symmetric/asymmetric crypto, encryption vs authentication, and PKI.
• Experience with platform security primitives such as Secure Boot, Secure Update, and secure lifecycle management.
• Experience in threat modeling of security features across software, hardware, and system designs.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives to define, drive, and productize security features.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
• Experience with user identification/authentication technologies like biometrics and smart cards.
• Basic experience in programming or auditing with Python, C, and Unix shell scripting.
