Platform Engineer 4

What you'll do

• Build, deploy, and support large-scale containerized workload platforms in private and public cloud environments.
• Deliver secure and efficient solutions that comply with comprehensive regulations and business priorities.
• Integrate technologies to provide monitoring, alerting, reporting, and performance improvements.
• Support software development teams with container-based onboarding, requirement identification, and practical improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex multi-system problems and provide root-cause analysis and build suggestions.
• Lead architecture and build reviews for container platform capabilities regarding reliability, scalability, and security.
• Own full-system builds for compute, networking, storage, observability, and deployment automation.
• Partner with third-party vendors to review options and improve platform performance and cost efficiency.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience handling environments on public cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure and AWS (preferred).
• Over 5 years of experience with Linux, including significant OS deployment and automation on a broad scale.
• More than 5 years of experience in software engineering involving various programming languages, preferably Python and Go (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes operations, including deployment strategies, upgrades, cluster security, and observability tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices for continuous deployment and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency with software version control systems and release management, preferably Git (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of security guidelines and compliance requirements for cloud-native infrastructure.
