Principal Platform Architect, AGI CPU

What you'll do

• Drive OEM and ODM partners to design cloud hardware solutions using Arm SoC products and partner IP.
• Align system deployment strategies with design goals by working with SoC, Platforms, and Software architects.
• Engage with Hyperscalers and hardware partners to identify cloud use-cases and requirements.
• Conduct competitive analysis of the AI data-center space to identify innovative hardware solutions.
• Support Product Managers in defining SoC, Platform, and IP designs for next-generation hardware.
• Represent Arm at industry forums and technology working groups to promote Arm server solutions.
• Generate consistent and concise written specifications for hardware and system designs.

What we're looking for

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (other degrees considered with relevant experience).
• 10+ years as a systems/platforms architect with a background in Silicon and hardware design.
• Industry knowledge of cloud design points including servers, accelerators, networking, and storage equipment.
• Experience helping customers build and deploy hardware in cloud covering rack-scale architecture, interconnect, power efficiency, and cooling.
• Experience working with Silicon and IP design, board design, bring-up, system modeling, simulation, and emulation techniques.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to build technical consensus and clarify complex problems.
• Understanding of cloud applications, software architecture, and the Arm ecosystem (preferred).
• Familiarity with SoC design flow, validation, test/product engineering, and packaging techniques (preferred).
